For sure, not all of us can afford to even rent a luxury car, not to mention buying one, but there’s nothing wrong with photographers providing us with some eye candy.

For this post I found several stunning tuning projects created during the first half of 2011. These VIP models def gave tuners a great platform to start on. Now take a look at these amazing cars and feel free to join me in drooling over them.

Mercedes SLS AMG by MEC Design

It’s not so surprising that Mercedes SLS AMG already gained huge popularity. Having worked on this model, MEC Design’s exterior package includes optional LED headlights, new side sills with four optional LED lights per side, a two-piece front spoiler, a spoiler lip finished in carbon, a two-piece rear roof spoiler, and a roof air scoop. Elsewhere, there’s a custom built stainless steel sport exhaust system and three different diffuser options (Extreme, Formula, or GT3). A set of mecxtreme3 allow wheels are available in either 20″ or 21″.

Wald International Rolls-Royce Phantom EWB

Since Wald generally concentrates on the styling of luxury cars, Rolls-Royce Phantom with the extended wheel-base features Bentley styled front bumper, extended rear bumper, and modified side skirts. Wald’s kit also consists of LED daytime running lights, front fender vents, and a trunk mounted spoiler. A new set of 24-inch Renovatio forged wheels completes the exterior look of luxury car.

Maserati Quattroporte

Tuned by Wald International with their Black Bison line of styling kits, this Maserti Quattroporte really catches the eye. Luxury car was facelifted with a new bumper, LED daytime running lights, and carbon fiber front splitter. As for the rear, Quattroporte was improved with roof-mounted spoiler, as well as trunk-mounted spoiler, revised bumper, and chrome exhaust. I guess the blacked out headlights and taillights continue the black and white theme with new custom wheels. Maserati Quattroporte also features new aero side skirts.

Bentley Continental GT Speed

Dubbed the Elegance Edition, Bentley Continental GT Speed was tuned by Anderson Germany. Now that’s something we are really digging. Not only elegance, but sport is added to the exterior: the hood is constructed out of lightweight carbon fiber to lighten up the load. Carbon fiber front and rear bumpers match the side skirts. LED daytime running lights and new chrome grilles definitely give the Continental GT Speed more modern appearance. Anderson Germany added new air filter and exhaust system as well. Though performance tuning was not the main focus, GT Speed owners will appreciate 685 hp.

Ferrari 599 GTB

This Ferrari 599 GTB by tuner Graf Weckerle looks awesome due to its sleek black exterior.

A set of Fleur-de-Lis forged titanium and aluminum rims is something you don’t see every day. Painted in a combination of anthracite and black finish, these custom wheels certainly add a character. Graf Weckerle Ferrari 599 received new coilover suspension kit with adjustable shock absorbers to cope with all this power (835 hp produced by factory V12 engine).

Audi R8 Hyper Black Edition

Looks like this baby-girl got tan. Audi R8 is painted an exclusive color called Hyper Black, featuring tinted windows and smoked tail lights. Customized by Anderson Germany, Audi R8 Hyper Black Edition is sitting on 19-inch alloy wheels with carbon fiber accents. Elsewhere, there’s an aggressive rear diffuser, front lip spoiler, and a massive rear wing. To provide this luxury car that little extra oomph (63 hp), the tuners added sport exhaust system with remote-controlled sound control valves, a high-flow air filter, and a revised ECU.

Ferrari 458 Italia

Here’s another tuning by Graf Weckerle. The flower type wheel design is the most unique feature on this Ferrari 458 Italia and we are guessing that German tuner was projecting these wheels with women in mind. Equipped with sport exhaust system, this Ferrari 458 also features engine tuning to produce over 600 hp.

Aston Martin Vantage V8 by Wheelsandmore

Wheelsandmore made Aston Martin V8 Vantage look more sporty by installing handcrafted 3-piece 6Sporz² forged rims. German tuning professionals significantly improved the car’s performance with stainless steel coilover suspension variant 3. Afterall, this luxury car received more agility, torquey and powersound due to remotable, valve-controlled exhaust system and the combination of 200 cells sport catalysts.

ASI’s flagship body kit for the Bentley Continental GTC

ASI’s body kit def adds some aggressive style to this stunning coupe that blends classic Bentley DNA with modern design. Bentley Continental GTC received new front and rear bumpers, LED winkers, under-grill pieces, trunk spoiler, and side skirts. The kit also includes stacked-oval exhaust tips.

2011 Maybach 57 Wedding Commemorative by Project Kahn

If I were Prince William, finding a vehicle for my wedding with Kate Middleton wouldn’t be something difficult, especially when Project Kahn comes into play. Having created a special Maybach 57 Wedding Commemorative edition, tuners decided to paint the wedding car in pearl white. The 57 received smoked rear lights, a new set of 22 inch wheels, Pentagon privacy glass, and special interior components. Maybach 57 got a truly royal number plate: 4 HRH (for those who have no clue, HRH stands for His/Her Royal Highness).

Jaguar XJ X350 2007 by Wald

Wald International is soon presenting new kit for JAGUAR XJ X350 2007, which makes the exterior look more aggressive. It is said the car gets a new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and a set of Renovatio wheels painted in black.
