Ten Stunning Customized Mustangs

It’s not like Ford Mustang is a blank canvas that needs to be turned into a masterpiece, as the car is already iconic, but customizing Mustang is one of the main joys of Mustang ownership, except for owning it of course. Whether it’s the superior performance or its stunning appearance, Mustang Shelby is a great platform for customization. Now, over the years, we’ve seen numerous modified Mustangs, and much credit certainly goes to those gurus who have taken them to new heights. I’ve selected photos of ultimate Mustangs customized by those who are keen on their projects. Well, it’s just like getting tattooed: once you start it, you can never stop. Check out this rocking tuning of the most legendary automobiles of all times!

Dubbed the “Red Mist”, this Mustang is built by Galpin Auto Sports. The ride is equipped with one-off body kit designed by Rich Evans, custom made 20-inch wheels, a 4.6-liter V-8 engine producing 550 hp, and Lambo-style scissor doors.

2010 Ford Shelby GT500

Put into 1,320 record books, this Shelby overcame the quarter-mile in 6.99 seconds at 205 mph. The true mission of this blue Shelby GT500 is revealed. It’s easy to see it has bite due to two DJ Safety spring-launched parachutes and wheelie bars. This rocket is equipped with two Garrett 80mm turbos hiding behind the grille and lightweight Weld Alumastars spin around racing brakes in order to slow down from 205 mph.

Chrome & Carbon VeilSide Premier4509 D1-GT Mustang

This Mustang features VeilSide Premier4509 body kit along with custom carbon front splitter, custom wheels with inner red lip, vertical doors, custom spoiler, window louvers, and extreme dimensions hood. I find this styling an exclusive one.

Ford Mustang GT by Rich Evans Designs

Recognized as the “Hardcore Knight” Mustang, it was seriously customized by Rich Evans Design from custom designed spiked wheels to the machine gun exhaust outlets. Its flat black work is the backdrop for devilish spikes and machined hardware. The details of its bodywork actually remind of BatMobile movie cars.

Chrome & Carbon Chrome-effect Shelby GT500 Super Snake

With custom chrome wheels, custom spoiler, extreme dimensions carbon creations hood, JLT Lower Grille Bezels, window louvers, and JLT CF Big Air Intake this Mustang is the baddest snake.

2010 Ford Mustang

24-year-old Daniel Verlarde, a Mustang owner, decided to airbrush the tattoo design onto the Galpinized Mustang. Other modifications include hood scoop, side scoops, rear deck fascia, 20 inch wheels, side window louvers, and an FR3 Handling Pack for a lowered stance.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 Eleanor

Yes, you got that right. It’s the much beloved lifetime legend. You know…Gone in 60 seconds. This totally customized Ford Mustang S-Code Fastback was built in 1967. It has a 5,7L Ford V8-engine with a Shelby GT 500 Bodykit. In order to keep most of the 350 hp, stainless steel was taken outside rims.

Chip Foose Ford Mustang GT

The car is equipped with Roush body kit, Edelbrock supercharger system, Magnaflow exhaust, Eibach springs, Foose wheels and Pirelli tires, Bilstein shocks, and Baer brakes. This customized pony features a unique paint scheme developed by Foose himself as well.
