Porsche Enters Compact Crossover Segment

Porsche engineers are working on building a small all-wheel drive crossover called Roxter. The size of this car will be smaller than Cayenne, and it will be based on the Audi Q5 compact crossover platform.

The new model will expand the Porsche model range, which currently consists of Boxster, Caymann, 911, Panamera and Cayenne. With its help Porsche will join the compact crossover segment, which is mainly occupied by Mercedes and BMW models.

Roxster compact crossover will distinguish from the rest due to its luxurious finish and all sports qualities of the Porsche brand cars. The design of its body will repeat the Cayenne SUV and it will be equipped with one of the 6 – and 8-cylinder engines range, which will generate from 280 to 500 hps.
