Do you like Cars? The movie “Cars” I mean… Turned out that everybody loves this comedy-adventure film produced by Pixar. Whether it’s the plot or just a perfect family movie, no matter what the reason is, “Cars” is recognized as the best Animated Feature Film of 2006, with numerous positive reviews. There’s an interesting story behind this movie. According to the Pixar crew, the characters, Lightning McQueen, Sally Carrera, Mater and others are inspired by real people met on the mother road, Route 66. So are the places. We did love Route 66. Now we love it even more.

While Chevy cars are widely used in movies (bumblebee character, for instance), movie Cars is distinguished by a variety of makes and models featured. You must have noticed such models, as 1992 Mazda Miata, 2002 996-series Porsche 911 Carrera, 1996 Dodge Caravan, 1959 Fiat 500, 1959 Chevy Impala Lowrider, etc. So no wonder the world has fallen in love with Cars characters. “Cars” fans and car junkies united and set a trend on bringing these characters to lives.
