The need for speed sometimes forces car enthusiasts to search for piculiar and unusual solution. The Indy Boys Inc, from Indianapolis has proved them, constructing an American-style school bus with General Electric J-79 engine. The 10-foot-high, 35-foot-long creation now produces 42 000 hp and can accelerate up to 367 mph. That engine was borrowed from F4 Phantom Jet and it requires about 600 gallons of engine for a mile-run. The ride is decorated with an 80-foot flame and huge clouds of smoke. The vehicle is known as The School Time Jet-Powered School Bus and was constructed to attract people and to avoid children from taking drugs.
