GM Initiates A Huge Recall Campaign

The American group General Motors is forced to announce the recall of nearly 1.5 million cars. The recall occures a very wide range of models, including Buick Lucerne, Cadillac DTS, Buick Enclave, Cadillac CTS, Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Acadia, Sierra, Yukon, Yukon XL and Saturn Outlook , Chevrolet Traverse and even Hummer H2.

The reason for the recall is a defect of the liquid heating in the washer tank, which may cause the fire. There are five cases of fire known for today..

Interesting, but General Motors decided not to repair the fluid heating system as the manufacturer of this mechanism has recently declared about its bankruptcy. Instead, the service experts will simply witch off the fluid heating option, and the car owners will be paid $100 as a compensation.

Revocable campaign will touch cars sold in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. However, the small number of problematic vehicles were sold on the other markets.
