Formula Drift 2012: Epic Races of the Summer

Now when 4 complete rounds are behind, we can say that it was a long and tough battle fought for the sake of Formula Drift. A lot has happened on the speedways, from the changes on the course layouts, to the most controversial races. Palm Beach International Raceway, Wall Speedway, Evergreen Speedway, and Las Vegas Motor Speedway (everyone’s favorite tracks) were like home for motorsports enthusiasts. Formula Drift provided the spectators a comfortable staying as well. The visitors had an excellent opportunity to watch the replays of races and the Driftstream during the event on the huge foldable and portable viewscreen.

Both mature drivers and the rookies managed to take the first places on the competition days. Daigo Saito, Vaughn Gittin, Rhys Millen, Fredric Aasbo, Ryan Tuerck, Daijiro Yoshihara, and Chris Forsberg were certainly among the fastest on the drifting circuits. The final race ended up with Rhys Millen being victorious. Apparently, Rhys was the one who has put his fears behind him. Let’s not forget that Rhys Millen was also the undeniable winner at Pikes Peak this year. The very last Formula Drift was hosted on the famous Las Vegas Motor Speedway where you might have attended such events as NASCAR, IndyCar, and NHRA. We’ve already covered the first two rounds of Formula Drift in May. Now check out the monumental races of the next four events in the videos below:
