CARiD Presents Camaro Predator Grille with DAC Technology

One of Chevy’s most recognizable vehicles, the Camaro has always been favoured in America, and when the new 5th generation Camaro debuted, it was a model that instantly hit the dealer showrooms. California-based DJ Grilles has proudly presented an overwhelming new front grille treatment to radically make over the Camaro’s face and give it a much more compelling high-tech look. While replacing the original plastic egg-crate grille, the black stainless mesh substrate accentuates the 304 stainless frame that hoods the headlights. The new accessory for Chevy Camaro will grab everyone’s attention and make heads turn!

Camaro Predator Grille features a sinister D-shaped 30”-long opening, which is intentionally left free of the protective mesh, and the similar opening in the lower grille. These opennings are meant not only for styling, but appear as the key to the Predator’s potential to unleash the Camaro’s power. Now that is a kind of grilles that reflect power hiding under the hood!

A pair of easily-removable headlight doors is designed for both a distinctive appearance and an easy access to the headlights. While the doors are held shut due to a single race-inspired quarter-turn fastener, it makes their removal/installation a tool-free operation which takes less than a minute. A perfect tool for removing or installing, a keychain is included and it acts as a bottle opener, too. The discriminating buyer is given an option of custom-matching the trim’s color to the car’s paint scheme or wheel accent color. It means that not only bright chrome, brushed chrome, bright satin, but also custom paint color is included. The open area below the mesh grilles funnels cool air directly from the high-pressure area in front of the car into the radiator, lowering cooling system and underhood temperatures substantially.

Make Your Camaro’s Performance Even More Impressive!

As soon as the original plastic factory egg-crate grilles are replaced by the Predator Grille, next thing you can do is install the Phase II Falcon Ram Intake system. What Falcon Ram Air system’s molded plastic ducting does is replaces a deterrent Chevy air cleaner and ductwork with a cold-air tunnel that routes over the top of the radiator and into a unique low-restriction air cleaner. Then it goes right into the throttle body, extremely improving the power and response.

Your car gets 20-30 more horsepower and 22-35 ft.-lbs. of torque with DJ Grilles, yet with no other changes made to it. Expect even more power ( 25-35 additional hp. and 35-45 additional ft.-lbs.), once you’re ready to retune the ECM and cope with a significant increase in inlet air.

You might wonder how it is possible… Well, we can explain: the stock air intake makes the engine run hotter since it breathes hot air from inside the engine compartment thus making it starve for oxygen. The Falcon ductwork delivers cold air (which is denser if compared to the hot air) resulting in more oxygen to burn inside the engine. Things are getting even better when the vehicle gains speed: since air intake is situated in a high-pressure zone, more cool air is directed into the engine. Remember: the faster your Camaro goes, the better performance you get!
