Many visitors of the Beijing Auto Show have been delighted with a release of Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept and, of course, they were glad to find out that the headquaters of the North American GM group have endorsed the idea of the new Cadillac serial production.
Journalists who were covering the motor show in Beijing, forecasted that the ancestor of both DTS and STS models will be put into serial production within two years, but now it became known that on the car production will start the next year. The exterior and interior of the new car completely replicates the design of Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept. The overall length of the XTS Platinum Concept reaches 5,1 m, width – 1,9 m, height – 1,5 m, and the wheelbase is 2.8 m.
Most likely, the production version will get a 350 hp hybrid engines, which will include gasoline V6 version with fuel direct injection and electric motor. The engine line of the car should also contain a gasoline V8 motor with two turbines.
