There is something incredibly thrilling about driving on a road course and controling a car while it slides from side to side at a very high speed. Sure, it’s better to stick to rear-wheel-drive car, because what matters the most is a necessity to balance the rear with the throttle. Some guys, mostly professional drivers, are keen on drifting practice due to the fact that it allows them to safely lose control of the ride and afterall restore the control. While trying to complete a set course as close to a judged criteria as possible, drifters drive around a predefined series of corners and points. The main criteria, drift drivers are judged for: speed, style or flair of the run, the line taken around the track, and the angle of the drift. To cut a long story short, drifting in its essence is a high skill level motorsport translating into absolute driving enjoyment and fun. It’s all about adrenaline rush, which can be captured, once you at least visit drifting competition, not to mention being a driver at a drift championship.
