Mercedes is preparing a wagon version based on the CLS model. The New concept of CLS Station Wagon will be presented on the Beijing Auto Show, and the serial version will be ready in around 2012. CLS Station Wagon will compete with such models like BMW 5 GT and new Audi A7.

Externally, the 2012 Mercedes CLS Accessories will be guided by the Fascination concept, presented in 2008, the current generation of CLS and will have several elements of SLS.

The new Mercedes CLS Station Wagon should get both gasoline and diesel engines. The first ones will include the 3.5 liters V6 engine, which produces 306 hp (CLS350), and the 4,6 liters V8 engine, which produces 435 hp (CLS500). Diesels will contain 2,1 liters motor, which produces 204 hp (CLS250 CDI), as well as the three-liter 231 hp engine (CLS 350 CDI). There will also be a CLS Station Wagon super charged version by AMG, powered by 5,5 liters V8 motor, which generates 540 hp.
