After the recently published information about the new 2012 BMW 1 M Coupe, BMW presents the 2012 renewed version of BMW 1-Series. The new BMW coupe will be produced in two versions: 128i Coupe and 135i Coupe with the renewed powerful engines, impressive original appearance and luxury interior. Each version was improved for the increase of comfort, manoeuvrability and performance.

The 2012 BMW 1-Series 128i works on a 3,0- liter 6-cylinder engine, which generates 230 hp of power and 270 Nm of torque. Except the standard manual transmission, BMW 1-Series 128i Coupe can be equipped with a 6-gear Steptronic, which allows a car accelerate to 60 mph in less than 7 seconds.

BMW 1-Series 135i Coupe is equipped with a new 3,0-liter 6-cylinder engine coupled with a turbo-compressor and revolutionary Valvetronic technology by BMW. A power unit develops 300 hp of powers and 400 Nm of torque. An engine achieves a maximum torque at 1200 rpm and supports it up to 5000 rpm. With a new engine and standard 6-step gear-box 135i Coupe accelerates up to 60 mph for hardly more, than 5 seconds.

The new BMW 135i can be supplied with a 7-gear transmission DCT of with a double clutch, which is mounted on Z4 Roadsters. The 2012 BMW 1-Series combines the unique elements of design with a powerful and muscular body. Short overhangs, long wheel-base and large frameless doors give the car a sporting and modern appearance with a vivid BMW style. The aerodynamic M style package is included in the list of 2012 BMW 1-Series Accessories for 135i version and can be ordered as an additional option for 128i one.

The list of external innovations includes the enhanced headlights with the LED strips, tail lights, and new sets of 17-inch and 18-inch rims in new two colors.

The innovative interior design consists of high quality and complex elements of finishing with the luxurious upholstering in various colors. A control panel for the multimedia and climate control systems is harmoniously integrated into a dash board. Following the philosophy of ergonomic design, the iDrive navigational system comptroller is also integrated there. There are two variants of interior finishing available: high-quality pleather or natural leather.
