Infiniti – the premium department of Nissan company has announced about the release of a new Infiniti IPL G coupe model. The car will become the first one in the line of new “charged” Infiniti models and its presentation will be held this weekend at the Peebles Beach Auto Show, California. The company hopes that the new luxury cars can compete with the Mercedes AMG and BMW M-series due to the impressive appearance, powerful engine, modified suspension and ultra-modern exhaust system.

The new Infiniti G Coupe has a dominant appearance of reworked bumpers, peeled side sills and an aggressive bodywork. The new rear spoiler, chrome exhaust pipes and 19-inch wheels with seven spokes were specially fabricated for the new G Coupe. There are two colors are offered for the exterior: Graphite Shadow and Malbec Black. The sheathing of the interior is also available in two colors: silver and red – which will complement the leather seats with red stitching and aluminum inserts. Standard kit includes a modern audio equipment, satellite navigation, rear view camera and voice recognition system.

The 3.7-liter V6 engine has reached the power of 348 hp and the torque of 375 Nm after the upgrade. The company claims that it works straight and confidently. The suspension received new solid springs, shock absorbers and upgraded limited-slip differential. The steering wheel was modified as well. The new power unit should provide an assured control and a smoother ride. That package is completed with high-performance brakes and an upgraded exhaust system, where the pressure was reduced by 30%.

The main market for the new Infiniti coupe will be North America, and there is no info about the official supplies to other markets so far. But the cars of this class are usually spread around the world without an official dealer deliveries.
