Meet the 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray, the all-new version in nine years which actually marks the 60th anniversary of the original “American sports car”. Indeed, the first Corvette C1 debuted on January 1, 1953. The 2014 Corvette C7’s premiere at the 2013 Detroit Auto show this Sunday symbolizes the rebirth of America’s auto industry (considering the fact that it almost died in 2009).

Just a few days left till the grandiose 2013 Detroit Auto Show (which we all anticipate greatly), and the Japanese brand Lexus dropped a set of pictures revealing the new 2014 IS sedan. While most details are kept under wraps, it’s still good to check out the model’s sharper exterior and interior styling. Not all of you may know that it’s the 20th year of the awards. This year one of the awards' name was also changed to “North American Truck/Utility” in order to reflect the growing numbers of crossover vehicles in the market. So, this year the jurors narrowed the field to the following vehicles for the 2013 North American Car of the Year: Cadillac ATS, Ford Fusion, and Honda Accord. After considering dozens of trucks this year, the jurors also chose three finalists: Ford C-Max, Dodge Ram 1500, and Mazda CX-5.
